ttdtt- you're kidding right? If you believe that you are sadly misinformed. Many Trump supporters are of the working class that are sick of being ignored and disrespected at every turn.

Um, yeah, the right has been called Nazi, racist, homophobes for at least a year now. So I think the response is warranted.
i don't fear people who are different or better off than me. I do fear terrorist or people who want to kill me, kind of a survival strategy.
where a few of us here on the forum live is in an emergency situation.

the emergency spillway, never used before in the 48 years the dam has operated, is eroding.. major confusion and panic occurred when the order went out sunday, late afternoon: this is not a drill!.

this is bit hard for me but im lost and don't know what to do.. 2010-married to a disfellowship person after only knowing him 3 months i began studying baptized few months later and he was reinstated same year.. i committed adultry 3-4 times in first 2 years of marriage he forgave me.
he was a recovering alcoholic and fell off wagon hard when i tried to fix my wrong it was way out of hand he moved in drug addicts in the home we fought constantly i tried to get personal studies with a sister to keep going but i failed at that and left my husband i left for another man 2 in half years later im looking to divorce because well what goes around comes around and he committed adultery on me .
i got what was coming for thinking i would live happy ever after.
...would you choose to ban the jw religion?.
if you wouldn't ban them what, if any, changes would you force upon them?.
No I wouldn't, because that means I think I am superior to everyone else and my views are the only right ones. (Sound familiar JWs?) I would make it harder for all religions to be tax exempt. I would impose mandatory reporting for all religions and child abuse.

however, my family are all shunning me.
This reminds me of my JW siblings, no matter how bad they act, they are the victim of every one else. They can't see their own self imposed shunning is the source of their own grief. They want to blame the person they are shunning.
many of you don't know me or won't remember me.
i left the jw's and my husband and my home last september - forging a new life in a new town.
i haven't posted here for many months, but have been reading most days.

there's a lot of criticism surrounding the jw's handling of chiild abuse within their ranks with a lot of it being well deserved.
but i'm interested to know how people on here think child abuse allegations should be handled.
there's a few scenarios below, the first couple are easy then it gets a bit more complex.
Call the police, let them investigate. My husband is also in a profession where he has to report even a suspicion of abuse. It's up to the police to investigate, not people who have no training or experience. The police in my area take abuse seriously and go to training, host seminars on how to protect children.
i understand people love their family but i also don't understand why you end up caring in the end.
i'm ready to leave and i 100% don't expecting my family to have any contact with me nor do i want them to contact me.
if they are going to chose a man made religion over me, that's their choice and i will sleep easy at night.
I can understand where you are coming from. Because when I was leaving I knew I had to steel myself for the repercussions. I had to let go of the normal affection I would have had for my family, because it really did come down to me or them. I chose my freedom, I have told my siblings when they want to act like normal human beings they can be part of my life, until then I don't want to hear it. My parents learned to act like normal human beings and are now part of my life again.
i've noticed several posts recently claiming that jw friends and family members give out conditional love.
well, i'm not so sure that is entirely accurate, in fact, i would say they tend to be very steadfast in their love.
the issue is this, they have been taught a poor form of love.
Their love is conditioned upon being a member of their religious organization and is therefore conditional.
